Litigation Public Relations
When Public Opinion Matters: Managing the Litigation PR Process

On July 25th, 2006 David Silver conducted a nationwide teleseminar, including Canada, under the auspices of Public Relations Society of America, on "When Public Opinion Matters: Managing the Litigation PR Process." At 25 sites around the country more than 70 executives listened for one-hour as Silver spoke on this topic. The response was so overwhelming to this one-hour teleseminar, that PRSA will host David Silver again on Monday, January 29, 2007 for an all-day seminar from 8:30- 5:00 on: "Litigation PR, When Public Opinion Matters: Managing the Litigation PR Process" in its conference offices in New York. This live seminar will include case studies and guest speakers from the top financial media, senior litigation partners from large New York law firms, and in-house corporate counsels and corporate communications executives from Wall Street companies.

David Silver also wrote an article in the Summer 2006 issue of The Public Relations Strategist on "Managing the Litigation PR Process in the Court of Public Opinion" [click to read], that has been circulated in corporate offices, Wall Street firms and law firms around the country. David Silver is also the only executive to be accredited by the State Bar of California to teach "Managing the Litigation PR Process: When Public Opinion Matters," for MCLE credit for lawyers in California. Silver is also recognized as one of the few experts in this area for both plaintiffs and defendants and is in demand by all sides in a litigation.
