Since the publication of his chapter, "The IR-PR Nexus," in the new Bloomberg Press book titled "The New Investor Relations: Expert Perspectives on the State of the Art," David Silver has been in demand as a speaker in front of Wall Street executives around the country.
Recent Addresses:
- David Silver spoke at an international symposium on investor relations in Mexico City from September 21-23, 2005. Nearly 100 Mexican public companies and members of the Mexico Stock Exchange were in attendance.
- 2004 Public Relations Society of America International Conference, October 23-26, in New York. Silver spoke on the topic of the IR-PR nexus and the importance of integrating both functions to provide consistent and strategic messages for the Wall Street audiences – buy-side and sell-side analysts, institutional holders, shareholders, the regulatory agencies and the media covering public companies.
- Two sessions at the 2003 Public Relations Society of America International Conference, October 25-28th in New Orleans. In the first session David Silver spoke on the topic of his Bloomberg book chapter, in which he argues that in the current atmosphere of investigations and scandals on Wall Street, the public relations and investor relations functions at public companies must converge to become more transparent for investors.

At a second session, Silver joined two other experts to present "Hit Them With Your Best Shot," a Q & A session in front of executives from the conference.
Silver has also lectured on public relations and investor relations at the University of Southern California (USC), the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and at the Financial Executives International, Los Angeles chapter.
